Apliman has the ability to leverage the functionality and utilize the power of SMS by the use of Apliman SMS/MMS connectivity, especially when used in synchronization with Apliman IVR Application Generator.

The Integration of Apliman IVR application generator with an SMS link provides a powerful visual tool for dictating the flow of information through SMS, without the need for advanced programming tools. The Application generator will provide all the needed icons and easy GUI based interface to script your own flow, incorporating SMS functionality such as:

• Send SMS, with content decided at run time (push)

Main uses of SMS using above functionality:

• Confirmation SMS for certain services (received money, received fax). For example, a user calls to carry out a banking transaction over IVR. Immediately after the transaction is completed, Apliman IVR can send this user an SMS confirming the transaction.
• Entertainment: Chat provision (through a 2-way push and pull mechanism). An example would be the sending of SMS from clients to a short number, received by IVR, and an SMS sent to a third party (already registered for chatting) to initiate the chatting of the two parties through Apliman SMS.
• Sending of Ringtones/Logos: Apliman SMS can send logos and ringtones to specified parties, either in bulk, or a more personalized basis.
• Sending reminders: late bills, patient reminder, tax reminder, credit card reminding
• Push - Pull SMS: getting information from user, market polling. An example is the following: A company wishes to send information to users about a new product. It can first send a small SMS requesting anyone interested to send a reply. Apliman SMS can then target on the people who have replied with a positive message, and continue sending them information, thus saving costs on bulk messaging, and targeting only the interested parties.
