Introduction
Oxycom Communications provides a Database Fax Manager Module (FaxMan). The
FaxMan works with the combination of
Apliman Fax server, and it provides the following added
functionality:

Live generation of fax pages.

Data is retrieved from a database and fax data is generated.

It provides Arabic or Latin generation of fax data.
It
is used in order to generate custom page information. Sample applications
can be as follows:
The
FaxMan can work either in a network environment, or on a stand alone
machine.
Technical Details
The
FaxMan contain 3 modules:

Client Interface: the
client software consists of Apliman 'C routines'. The ‘C’ routines will communicate with the main fax manager in order
to request a fax. Specific information is sent to the fax server
like (customer name …)

Fax Server: This application
is the engine that receives fax requests. It generates the fax
pages in Arabic or Latin characters by using the
Dialogic TIFF
(G3) protocol. It also has a simple user
interface that shows the faxes that were generated (Fig 1).

PPE Communication module
used for inter process communication.

Online Fax Generation:
Fax requests sent by IVR channels are immediately processed.

Faxes can be sent
on the same call or as an independent fax call.

Connects virtually
to any kind of database through ODBC connectivity.

Fax generation
page is done using Dialogic TIFF (G3) protocol.

Can work on a single
PC or on a server as a part of a networked system.

Provides Arabic
language support for in fax generation (Fig 2).

Fax Page is custom designed
in order to meet customer’s request, this includes graphics, as
well as data retrieved from the database.

Works in combination with the
Apliman IVR fax engine.
Customization
Because the software
is designed by Oxycom Communications, we can provide any special custom
request in order to meet the customer requirements.
